๐Ÿ”ฎ Soulbound โ€‹

Players can soul-bind items to themselves. Once bound, the item becomes unusable by any other player apart from the owner; any other player trying to use it will receive instant damage. Soulbounds are displayed inside the item lore, and can be achieved and destroyed using specific consumable items.

Additional toggleable options for Soulbound items include:

  • Soulbound items are kept on death even when keepInventory is not toggled on.
  • Soulbound items cannot be taken off the owner's inventory (cannot place it in a chest, dispenser...)

Soulbound Level โ€‹

Soulbinds have levels. The level of a soulbind is determined by the consumable used to soulbind the item. If you use a Level III soulbinding consumable onto an item, the former will be granted a Level III Soulbind. The higher the level, the harder it is to break the soulbind. In order to break a Level N Soulbind, you will need a consumable with a soulbound breaking power of N.

Additionally, a higher soulbound item will deal more damage to external players trying to interact with the soulbound item.

Breaking a soulbind โ€‹

In order to break a soulbound, players must apply a specific consumable onto it. This consumable's soulbound level must be higher or equal to the soulbound weapon/armor level.Destroying a soulbound may sometimes fail, depending on the soulbound breaking chance. When failing to destroy a soulbound, the consumable is lost, just like with failed soulbound creations.
